Entry made October 2, 2005 : On The Move

Well.... It's October 2nd. I leave Missoula on October 4th. I've less than two days left in Missoula. I'm kind of sad, but also excited. I had fun at going away parties on Friday and Saturday nights. Friday was fun because it was all close friends just hanging out and having a good time. Saturday's was fun because I just told a bunch of people I would be at Bodega's and then just hung out there from 5:00 till about 1:00. I ran into people I haven't seen in a long time. One person I hadn't even seen in about 4 years! It was great. Both nights I didn't get nearly as drunk as I thought I was going to. That's a good thing, right?

So, now that all my partying is over I get to start packing. YEAH! I have done almost no packing so far. I'm currently doing all my laundry so that my cloths are packed clean. I really don't have all that much stuff to pack. I just have lots of stuff to get rid of. Almost everything has found a home if I remember right. The only thing still on the slightly up in the air is my bed.

On a different note, I hate that I finally find a great girlfriend then decide to leave town. It was just terrible timing all around. I started talking to T.S.I. about the job about a week or two after starting to go out with her. So I ended up building two obligations at the same time. I'd have asked her to move to Atlanta with me if her employer wasn't already paying for her to take the courses required to become certified in what she does. I felt that asking would be wholy unfair to everyone.

So, now I sit here nearly ready to leave. I'm off on another adventure. There's a chance this one will last about the same length as the last one. There's a chance it will last longer than anyone can foresee. Who knows? At least I have the internet and a cell phone to keep in touch with people. Even though I'm moving to the other side of the nation, I'm still within reach.

It all comes down to the fact that I'm not packed yet and I have to be packed and the place clean by Tuesday. I don't mind. I really don't have too much stuff. I mean, it can all fit into my car. How much stuff can that really be?

Well, that's all I really have for my mindless ramblings today. I guess I will just leave with a quote.

"What is meant to be, will be."
